Morphological disparity analyses of the lower beak among Uluciala rotundata and 165 modern cephalopod species

This file set includes the character matrices, R codes, and result tables used for morphological disparity analyses of 165 modern cephalopod species and Uluciala rotundata gen. et sp. nov. in the publication “The oldest sepioid cephalopod from the Cretaceous discovered by Digital fossil-mining with zero-shot learning AI”. The results of the analyses are shown in Supplementary Information of the publication. The details of each file are described below.character_matrix_cephalopod_beak.xlsx: A character matrix of 165 modern cephalopod species and Uluciala rotundata gen. et sp. nov. based on 46 characters.
