WORKPIECE-PROCESSING STATION COMPRISING A HANDLING-DEVICE-CONTROLLED MULTI-PROCESSING UNIT

The invention relates to a workpiece-processing station for processing planar and/or board-like workpieces and for mountingly fitting add-on parts onto the workpieces. The workpiece-processing station has at least one unfinished-part transporting system and at least one finished-part transporting system for transporting the workpieces. Said station at least has a magazine for providing add-on parts. Said station has at least one support device on which the workpieces are processed. In addition， at least one handling device which carries and controls a multi-processing unit is provided. Various types and/or sizes of machining power tools for processing the workpieces are arranged in or on the multi-processing unit. For every add-on part， the multi-processing unit carries at least one gripping tool and at least one tool system for attaching the relevant add-on part to the workpiece. According to the present invention， a workpiece-processing station is developed， in which various workpieces individually and different tools individually or in groups can freely move in three-dimensional space， in order to separatingly and/or joiningly process and handle planar and/or board-like workpieces.
