Peach (Prunus persica) is threatened by numerous fungal diseases including Monilinia fructicola. Besides, various strains of Bacillus amyloliquefaciens have known to depict antifungal effects serving as BCAs. In order to decipher the transcriptional expression profiles in the peach-Bacillus amyloliquefaciens strain QST 713-Monilinia fructicola pathosystem, an RNA-seq analysis at fruits was performed at 12, 24, and 48 h after infection. The samples for RNA-seq were obtained from fruits inoculated with Monilinia fructicola and fruits both treated with Bacillus amyloliquefaciens strain QST 713 and inoculated with the fungus. Non-treated and non-inoculated fruits were also analyzed.
