Gene expression profiles of differentially expressed genes in Enterococcus faecalis 14 ΔpnpA mutant strain

To explain the particular behavior of the mutant ΔpnpA strain, we performed a comparative transciptomic analysis of RNA isolated from a derivative strain ΔpnpA mutant versus the wild-type (WT) , after 3h and 6 h of growth in GM17 medium under semi-aerobic conditions. Expression data of the 3 wild-type samples were filtered and the average was calculated for each gene, for 3h and also for 6h condition. A fold change (FC) value was calculated between ΔpnpA individual samples and the mean of WT for each point of kinetics. Differentially expressed genes (DEGs) were selected for a FC threshold > 2.0 or < 0.5. Please note that the gpr files contains raw data obtained from the 4-plex/block slides and the .xlsx file (linked to each sample) contains the corresponding sample raw data (obtained from the selected block).
