Data and code for Animal Behaviour manuscript "Assessing the similarity of song-type transitions among birds: evidence for interspecies variation"

Data and code for the Animal Behaviour manuscript entitled "Assessing the similarity of song-type transitions among birds: evidence for interspecies variation".<br>Within this fileset is a zip file containing one R script ("Similarity of Song Type Transitions.R") and five data files in .RData format.<br>Each data file contains the transition matrices for one of the five species included in the study. For a species represented by N individuals, the RData file contains N transition matrices.<br><br>The code reads in the song transition matrices contained in the five data files, and makes pairwise comparisons of transitions of all individuals included. <br><br>Results are then summarized in an R object called "Results". Additional details are provided as comments within the R code.
