Microbial diversity from sandy soil column under dynamic hydrologic regimes

Soil was sampled for 16S rRNA sequencing (V3-V4) from a sandy soil column along the depth at 3 time points (beginning, middle and end) during operation with dynamic hydrologic regimes. The initial soil is from the Shafdan soil aquifer treatment site in Israel. The goal of this project is to investigate the spatial-temporal distribution of microbial composition, reveal microbial interactions and predict microbial function.
