Country-scale nitrogen budgets for eight European major arable crops (1961-2019)

This dataset includes yearly nitrogen budgets for 8 major arable crops across 20 European countries for the 1961-2019 period. These countries were subsequently allocated to four groups based on the intensity of inputs during the studied period and their geopolitical background: NW (North-west), CC (Central and East), NN (Nordic), and ME (Mediterranean). The dataset includes 8095 entries representing the main N budget components for each year, country, and crop.
