This data set contains sequence abundance sample-by-taxa tables created from multiple sampling projects across California, as well as their sample metadata. The fungal data is derived from 17 projects, and the invertebrate data is derived from 18 projects. The taxonomies were assigned using Tronko within eDNA Explorer, based on sequences obtained using an ITS1 fungal metabarcoding marker for fungi or a CO1 metazoan metabarcoding marker for invertebrates.
