Canadian Gallup Poll, September 1997

This Gallup poll seeks the opinions of Canadians, on predominantly economic, political, and social issues. The questions ask opinions of the past federal election, current and future economic conditions, and the status of Quebec as a distinct society. There are also questions on other topics of interest such as the international banning of anti personnel land mines, the future of the monarchy in Canada, and constitutional powers. The respondents were also asked questions so that they could be grouped according to geographic, political and social variables.
