FWB – Grant Cadastre 2022

Foreword: Please read the following carefully: The total amount of the cadastre can be found in the ‘Table’ tab. The data are not in the format "one line = one grant" . Due to certain constraints when consolidating data, each line represents a grant tranche paid in 2022. This means that a single grant is paid in three instalments (e.g.) will correspond to three rows in the table. Negative amounts correspond to reimbursements of beneficiaries. For the NEB, the negative amounts result mainly from transfers between items budget of the same nature, namely ‘Accueil subsidies’ between the private sector B632.10 & public B632.11. They could not group the calculations for these few lines due to lack of time. Outside the Tableau module, the display on the site has certain limitations: For postal codes: they are not all in the list proposed in the "Filters" field because of their large number. This field shows only the 100 postal codes that include the largest number of grants. Similarly, for the tooltips in the ‘Card’ tab, only the information from the first 100 grants (from the highest amount) can be shown. Example: the Commune "X" presents 750 grants. By clicking on the tooltip, information about (among others) the beneficiary and the grant amount is displayed. We will only be able to review the first 100 subsidies. This does not mean that the subsidy does not exist. The information is in the main table, where you can isolate different data using the filters (on the left of the screen) and sorting (in the column headings of the table). You can also export all data in various formats via the "Export" tab, for consultation, statistics or analysis. The document “How to use the data” is intended to support the user in understanding the data criteria related to grants published on this portal. The Grants Register: The transparency of subsidies granted by the Wallonia-Brussels Federation is one of the Government's priorities. On 18 January 2018, the Parliament of the Wallonia-Brussels Federation adopted a Decree establishing a cadastre of subsidies in the French Community . This decree lists all the information related to subsidies awarded in the French Community and which must be communicated in a report, including all the subsidies awarded between 1 January and 1 January. 31 December of the previous year, which will be sent to Parliament on 15 June of the current year. The cadastre is put online in open data on the portal www.odwb.be T+18: within 15 calendar days of transmission of the report to Parliament. The subsidy register is part of a desire to ensure transparency in the award of subsidies paid by all the subsidising bodies dependent on the Wallonia-Brussels Federation: the Government, Ministers, Administration services, including self-accounting administrative services (SACA) and legal persons governed by public law created by or dependent on the French Community, including the legal structures created within the latter, where they award, from their own budget, grants financed in whole or in part from resources made available to them by the Community French. This cadastre shows the subsidies paid during the 2022 financial year.
