The Ocean Serial data in this accession was collected as part of Global Ocean Data Archeaology and Rescue (GODAR) project from ships CANDARLI and CARSAMBA. The data was collected between March 24, 1964 and December 3, 1964. Oceanographic Station Data contain physical and chemical oceanographic data recorded at discrete depth levels. The Nansen bottle data containing 2,196 records was submitted to NODC by Capt Huseyin Yuce, Turkish Navy Hydrographic Office, Istanbul, Turkey. The submision was addressed to Bruce Douglas amd received via World Data Center-A.
