Pasteurella multocida (P. multocida) is a versatile pathogenic bacterium that can cause infections in a variety of domestic, wild animals and human. However, the molecular basis of P. multocida pathogenesis remains poorly defined. Compared with the parent strain PmCQ2, mutant strain PmCQ2-4555-4580 was significantly downregulated in toxicity. And the virulence and Immune protection mechanism was studied by transcriptomics.
