Behind them stand four indigenous adults, two of whom hold long wooden poles and one of whom holds an umbrella. Near them on the ground is a little boy. Postcard issued by "Missions Africaines, 150, Cours Gambetta, Lyon."; The back of the postcard is blank and contains information about the printer: "Phototypie Mee Lescuyer, 16, r. des Remparts-d'Ainay, Lyon.
