A longitudinal clinical and prescription dataset of hypertensive osteoporotic fracture patients

This Figshare repository contains a de-identified longitudinal clinical dataset of hospitalized patients with osteoporotic fractures and hypertension. The dataset is organized into three relational Microsoft Excel files. The <b>Clinical Variables Table</b> (<i>Clinical Variables Table.xlsx</i>) includes patient-level demographic characteristics, fracture information, comorbidities, laboratory measurements, osteoporosis-related treatments, blood pressure data, and longitudinal outcomes such as all-cause mortality and refracture events. The <b>Medication Table</b> (<i>Medication Table.xlsx</i>) provides detailed longitudinal records of antihypertensive prescriptions, including drug class, prescription date, dosage, and care setting, enabling assessment of medication exposure over time. In addition, a <b>Variable Definition Table</b> (<i>Variable Definition Table.xlsx</i>) is provided as a comprehensive data dictionary documenting variable names, definitions, units, and coding schemes to facilitate data interpretation and reuse.
