Probiotics, which are considered functional foods and whose positive effects on health have been scientifically proven, are accepted and consumed as food supplements all over the world. Traditional fermented foods constitute an important source of probiotics. Lactiplantibacillus plantarum B5.2v was isolated from Shubat, a fermented milk drink specific to Kazakhstan and produced from camel milk. Some probiotic properties of the strain were also determined. This project aims to determine the genes belonging to the probiotic properties of Lactiplantibacillus plantarum B5.2v by full wgs analysis and to evaluate the risk factors for human health.
