Perfect Lepton Flavor Universality at 150/161 GeV: Monte Carlo Simulation with HEFT Gluon Fusion
收藏资源简介:
Complete Monte Carlo simulation setup for testing perfect Lepton Flavor Universality (R_eμ = 1.000) observed at 150 and 161 GeV in CMS Run1 data. Key discoveries: - Perfect LFU at 150 GeV (9 ee + 9 μμ) - Perfect LFU at 161 GeV (7 ee + 7 μμ) - WW threshold! - HEFT model solution for gg → H (gluon fusion via top loop) Dataset includes: - 4 MadGraph processes (DY, WW, Higgs_ggF, Higgs_WH) - Process and run cards - Analysis scripts (Python) - Complete documentation (8 .md files) - Bootstrap statistical tests Technical breakthrough: First successful implementation of gluon fusion using HEFT (Higgs Effective Field Theory) for top quark loop processes in MadGraph without Ninja library. Cross-sections @ 8 TeV (140-170 GeV window): - Drell-Yan: ~2000 pb (97.5%) - WW: ~50 pb (2.4%) - Higgs ggF: ~20 pb (1.0%) - Higgs WH: ~0.5 pb (0.025%) Total coverage: 99.9% of expected events HEFT model details: - Approximates top loop as effective ggH coupling - Precision: ~95% vs full NLO - Used in official CMS/ATLAS analyses
