Sales value of organic and conventional produce in the U.S. 2019-2023

Although the sales value for organic produce has been growing every year in the U.S. since 2019, conventional produce still has a sales value over seven times higher than organic. Organic sales in 2023 amounted to about 9.6 billion U.S. dollars, whereas conventional produce sales reached 70.4 billion U.S. dollars.
