A Multi-Resolution Geospatial Dataset of Monsoon Flood Extent and Spatial Clustering for Pakistan (2022–2025)
收藏资源简介:
This dataset comprises a multi-resolution, open geospatial dataset of Visible Infrared Imaging Radiometer Suite (VIIRS)-derived monsoon flood extent and spatial clustering statistics for all of Pakistan, covering four seasons from 2022 to 2025 inclusive. The dataset is developed integrating the United Nations Satellite Centre (UNOSAT) satellite-detected flood extent polygons with Pakistan's official administrative boundaries at district level (160 units) and tehsil level (577 units). For each administrative unit and year, provided elements include flooded area (km²), percentage of unit area flooded, Getis-Ord Gi* hotspot classification, and Local Indicators of Spatial Association (LISA) quadrant, alongside a summary table with cross-year statistical tests. The four-season record provides a cross-event record suitable for spatiotemporal analysis of structural flood exposure, disaster risk reduction planning, and sub-national humanitarian targeting.
