This series consists of the photographic slides managed by the Photographic Services Section of the Country Roads Board (CRB) and their successor agencies, VA 1054 Road Construction Authority (1983-1989) and VA 2982 Roads Corporation, also known as VicRoads (1989-ct).The slides were used by CRB for lectures and presentations and represent a very small proportion of the photographs managed by the Photographic Services Section.Various landscapes, regions, weather events and transport engineering projects are depicted in the slides including the following:- Eastern Freeway Construction- Phillip Island Bridge- Genoa and Benalla Floods- Murray River Bridge at Echuca- Close ups of road bearings (Swanston Street and Alexandra Avenue).
