Pugionium cornutum cultivar:shajie Transcriptome or Gene expression

Pugionium cornutum (L.) Gaertn is a xerophytic plant widely distributed in sandy and desert grounds in northwest China. however, the plant has received little attention about drought tolerance molecular mechanism. At present, complete transcriptomic and genomic data for P.cornutum (L.) Gaertn are still insufficient in public databases. molecular biological research about the mechanism of drought tolerance of P.cornutum (L.) Gaertn is still blank. The difficulty in obtaining its comprehensive genetic information leads to the initial plight of the omics research.Therefore, this study intended to use high-throughput Illumina sequencing technology to perform de novo transcriptome sequencing on P.cornutum (L.) Gaertn's leaves and roots in different stages of drought stress.In this way, the types of differentially expressed genes at the transcriptional level, gene expression level and temporal and spatial specificity of genes will be systematically studied.
