资源简介:
Due to long-term domestication, Bombyx mori shows higher cocoon yield than wild silkworm, B. mandarina. However, little is known about the yield-enhancing mechanisms. In this study, restriction-site associated DNA (RAD) sequencing was performed in 100 backcross (BC1M) individuals, which were developed by an elite cultivar Xiafang (D_XF), as the recurrent parent, and a wild silkworm (W_AK) as the donor. Quantitative trait loci (QTLs) for cocoon yield traits were identified. It will be helpful in elucidating the underlying molecular mechanisms of complex yield traits in silkworm.
