Point-cloud dataset at different processing stages for optical form-error evaluation of AM and milled AlSi10Mg and 316L steel workpieces

This dataset contains the point-cloud data used in the study “The Role of Surface Texture Parameters in Optical Form Error Measurements Accuracy and Precision of Additively Manufactured Components”. The dataset includes four workpieces with different material and surface-finish conditions: AM AlSi10Mg, Milled AlSi10Mg, AM 316L steel and Milled 316L steel. For each workpiece, point clouds are provided at different stages of the post-processing workflow.
