Metagenomic sequencing of root-associated Variovorax synthetic communities in Populus

This dataset contains metagenomic Illumina reads generated from synthetic communities of 28 Variovorax strains inoculated into axenic Populus deltoides and Populus trichocarpa roots. Sequencing was performed to capture community composition and functional potential across rhizosphere and endosphere compartments.
