Loudoun Subdivisions

More Metadata Subdivisions are larger, whole tracts of land that are legally separated or broken down into smaller parcels through a recorded instrument at the County Court House. The subdivision layer is derived from the subdivision title as shown on recorded plats. The subdivision layer was created to allow subdivisions to be queried and categorized both for the general public and for various departments within Loudoun County government. It serves as tool to monitor the Loudoun County Subdivision Ordinance. The ordinance states a subdivision as being a "division of any parcel into two or more parcels, each separately transferable from the other, and shall include condominium development." These data were generated for use by Loudoun County and are available to the public. These data are intended for use at 1:2400 scale or smaller.
