Bacterial diversity in drinking water reservoirs in Istanbul, Turkey. freshwater metagenome

This study reveals the bacterial diversity of drinking water reservoirs of Istanbul. Investigation of the diversity is important in terms of understanding the relationship of the community and nutrient cycles. Another critical aspect of this study is to determine the diversity and abundance of pathogenic bacteria which might pose a threat to human health.
