This series is the Senior Officer's log books for Kamballa. Some volumes are labelled with the title 'log book' or 'Senior Youth Workers log book'.At the front of each volume is a list of instructions along with the date that the instruction was issued.The log books are a daily report by the Senior Officer. Recorded on each day is the number of discharges, admissions and the number of girls in each dormitory. There is a summary of a selection of girls. This records the girls name along with a brief observational report on their behaviour.At the bottom of each page is a list of rostered staff and a checklist of daily tasks such as the handover of keys. At the back of each volume is a list of staff and the allocation of keys.Each report is signed and dated. The volumes are arranged in chronological order.
