Analysis of Global Surveillance Data to Investigate Mutations that underpin Emerging Antibiotic Resistance

We are looking to expand on our baseline study which has found patterns of acquired resistance and co-resistances of Klebsiella species to Tigecycline over the last decades. Our goal is to now expand this model using the updated ATLAS-surveillance dataset to include data from recent years with the aim of associating inccreases in resistance with shifts in antibiotic use across countries and pinpoint the genomic signatures of resistant strains using reference genomes from literature.
