Danish Gallup Omnibus Data 1964, Omnibus no. 10

Danish Gallup Omnibus Data 1964 comprises 12 omnibus surveys carried out by the Danish Gallup Institute in 1964. This data material contains information from omnibus no. 10. # #Each survey contains a number of demographic variables common to all the surveys of that year, as well as a number of questions dealing with topical events. # #The questions common to all 1964 omnibuses are: degree of urbani- zation, sex, age, marital status, number of persons in household and composition of household, occupational status of respondent and of supporter, income of respondent and total income of family, education of respondent, occupational status of housewife, social group, type of dwelling, possession of garden and/or summer cot- tage, party preference at the latest general election and at a hypothetical election on the day after the interview (except in bus nos. 10 and 12). # #The special questions in this omnibus deal with the following issues: # #TV in household; assessment of the election programmes on TV (whether some of the broadcasts were particularly good or poor); criticism of the broadcasts; should TV continue with the broadcasts after the election); attitudes to tax already paid being tax deductible; attitudes to the P.A.Y.E. tax system; tax preferred (income tax or consumption tax); and assessment of which party/parties should form the government after the election
