Supplemental Material Table S1 and nexus file

We studied new fossil killifish material (skeletons of 179 individuals, in many cases with otoliths in situ) from the Middle Miocene of Southeastern Europe (Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bugojno Basin, site Gračanica) using both comparative morphology (meristics, osteology, otoliths) and phylogenetic analysis. For the latter, we used a substantially expanded morphological matrix of a previous work and conducted implied-weight maximum parsimony analyses without constraints, as well as with a molecular scaffold as constraint for the extant taxa while fossils were left as floaters.The manuscript is now published in the Journal of Systematic Palaeontology.
