Airway microbiome composition in genetically matched young and elderly subjects

Here we sought to investigate age-associated changes in airway microbiome composition and their relationships with lung function and arterial stiffness among genetically matched young and elderly pairs. The dataset includes 16s rRNA gene sequences from sputum samples obtained from young (n=24) and elderly (n=24) subjects.
