Share of French who intend to go to bars, cafés or restaurants as of May 19, 2021

After a long period of closure, the French government permitted the reopening of bars, cafes, and restaurants as of 19 May 2021. A survey conducted few days before the reopening showed that a majority of the French population intend to go to bars, cafés, or restaurants as of this date. In fact, 65 percent of the surveyed people answered "yes", while 35 percent gave a negative answer to that question.
