DAXX is an epigenetic regulator and chromatin chaperon protein. This experiment aims to investigate whether DAXX's phase separation causes changes in chromatin structures. Overall design: DAXX was fused with a Cry2 domain which enables DAXX to form condensates upon blue light illumination. HiChIP was employed to profile the long-range chramatin interactions in HEK293 cells expressing DAXX-mCherry-Cry2 with or without blue light illumination.
