Lenham Heath, ARC LHT 95

The survey transect at Lenham Heath lies just to the northeast of the M20 and crosses several pasture fields. The western most section of the survey has been subdivided into several paddocks that hindered scanning. The soils of the survey area are deep well drained coarse and fine loamy soils over clays, although the soils become shallower and coarser in the east. Whilst this change in soils may be reflected by slightly lower results its is expected that the dataset would be more influenced by patterns of recent land use.
