An Empirical Study of the Impact of Environmental Regulation on the Eco-efficiency of Digital Agriculture: A Quasi-Natural Experiment Based on China’s Carbon Emissions Trading Pilot Policy

Due to data availability constraints and the timeline of policy implementation, the study covers the period from 2011 to 2022, resulting in a final panel dataset comprising 360 annual observations across 30 Chinese provinces. The core data for calculating DATFP (digital agricultural eco-efficiency) are drawn from the China Statistical Yearbook, the China Rural Statistical Yearbook, the China Tertiary Industry Statistical Yearbook, and the official statistical yearbooks of each provincial-level region. Additional data were obtained from the CSMAR database.
