Community of Practice Questionnaire for Climate Change Mitigation and Adaptation: ClimEmpower Project

This document contains the "CoP Meeting 1 - Questionnaire" developed as part of the ClimEmpower project, funded by the European Union under the HORIZON-MISS-2022-CLIMA-01-01 framework. The questionnaire is designed to facilitate the formation of a Community of Practice (CoP) focused on climate change impact mitigation and adaptation. The CoP aims to bring together diverse stakeholders, including researchers, policymakers, practitioners, and community members, to foster collaboration, exchange knowledge, and develop innovative strategies for addressing climate challenges. This questionnaire seeks to gather stakeholder inputs regarding their expertise, perceptions of climate hazards, expectations from the CoP, willingness to collaborate, and awareness of existing practices and barriers in climate change mitigation. Key sections of the questionnaire include: Stakeholder Information Hazard Perception Community of Practice Expectations Contribution and Collaboration Existing Practices in Cyprus Knowledge and Awareness Barriers and Challenges Capacity Building Needs Collaboration and Communication Preferences Monitoring and Evaluation Metrics Open-Ended Input for Stakeholder Suggestions The responses will guide the CoP in setting its initial goals, identifying needs, and shaping its activities to address climate change effectively.
