资源简介:
To achieve successful infection, S. Typhimurium has to cope with the fluctuations in oxygen concentrations encountered when S. Typhimurium gain access to the host gastrointestinal tracts. The major regulator FNR (fumarate nitrate reduction) plays a vital role in the adaptation of the low oxygen environment by controlling the physiological switch between aerobic and anaerobic growth conditions. Nevertheless, a comprehensive profile of the FNR regulon on the proteome level is still lacking in S. Typhimurium. To better understand the regulatory mechanism by FNR, we quantitatively profiled Salmonella proteome during anaerobiosis in an fnr-deleting mutant in comparison to its parental strain
