Format adoption dataset

This dataset contains adoption of different combinations of properities. The adoption is calculated as a percentage of the files which have specific combination of properties in a specific year.

This dataset is an intermediary dataset produced by the Format Analysis workflow (https://github.com/datascience/FormatAnalysis) executed on the File format profile dataset from the UK web archive (DOI: 10.5259/ukwa.ds.2/fmt/1)

First four columns represent the combination of properties and the amount of files having that combination in a specifci year. The age column defines hoow many years has passed by since the combination of properties become available. For Distiller_adoption it denotes the time sice a specifc Adobe Distiller version was released and for HTML_adoption and PDF_adoption when a specifci HTML or PDF file format version was released.

The percentage column denotes the share of specifci property combination in a specific year. The average column is a 3 year moving average of the percentage column.
