资源简介:
This dataset contains a set of Yield Input Packages (YIPs) for use with the yippy library (https://github.com/CoreySpohn/yippy) and other yield modeling tools for the Habitable Worlds Observatory (HWO). This serves as an initial dataset while a full hosting solution is finalized.
Each YIP is a self-contained directory of FITS files describing the behavior of a single coronagraph design: an off-axis PSF cube, its corresponding offset table, a stellar intensity datacube indexed by stellar diameter, and a sky-transmission map. A YIP is the standardized deliverable that bridges full-physics coronagraph propagation codes (HCIPy, PROPER), YIP generation tools (CDS pipeline, COMET) and downstream yield calculators (AYO, EXOSIMS, pyEDITH).
The v1 release contains 13 YIPs: twelve radially-symmetric (1D) PSF cubes spanning three HWO telescope architectures (EAC1, EAC2, EAC3) crossed with six coronagraph families (AAVC, SPC, LCPPC, optimal-order-6, APLC, PIC), plus one off-axis 2D grid for the EAC1 AAVC design (used as the benchmark coronagraph in the yippy paper). Each YIP name encodes telescope, coronagraph family, and sampling regime ("_1d" or "_2d").
The yippy library ships an in-package catalog that fetches and caches any of these YIPs via pooch.
The coronagraphs hosted here were designed by:Susan Redmond - AAVCJessica Gersh-Range - SPCDavid Doelman - LCPPCRus Belikov - OptimalBryony Nickson - APLCDan Sirbu - PIC
