资源简介:
The Imager for Magnetosphere-to-Aurora Global Exploration (IMAGE) mission produced the first comprehensive global images of the plasma populations in the inner magnetosphere. IMAGE data are archived at NASA/GSFC National Space Science Data Center (NSSDC) and at the Southwest Research Institute (SWRI). Data from all instruments on the IMAGE spacecraft are accessible from NSSDC and SWRI through &IMAGE Archive& client-server software. The data are low-processing-level data in Universal Data Format (UDF) as generated at and provided by the IMAGE Science Management Operations Center at GSFC. Users must access and install client software on their own computers prior to data access. Users should go to http://image.gsfc.nasa.gov/ for an overview of the IMAGE science, data and software environment. They should then follow the IMAGE software archive link (http://image.msfc.nasa.gov/) for documentation needed to download, install, and configure the client software. The client software is a set of tools that allow the user to maintain a local collection of IMAGE data, automatically Data archived include all instrument level 0 data, imagery, low-resolution and high-resolution data. Data from NSSDC are available via ftp and data from SWRI are available via an interactive data delivery system: http://www.shef.ac.uk/appliedmaths/manual/image.pdf The IMAGE project has an open data policy. There are no proprietary data or periods.
