Bacillus species have been widely used as biological control agents in agricultural fields because of their ability to suppress plant pathogens. Our results will provide a better understanding of the B. velezensis strain genome to verify the profile of secondary metabolites produced by the isolate and its application as biocontrol agents against plant pathogens in agricultural fields.
