The subject under study was a particular isolate of a Klebsiella pneumoniae strain from the urine sample against which bacteriophage was isolated as a potential therapeutic agent. The interaction between the phage and the Klebsiella host was studied to understand the mechanism of resistance to phage. Few phage resistant isolates were sequenced and analyzed.
