IMOS - National Mooring Network - Queensland and Northern Australia Palm Passage (GBRPPS) Mooring

The QLD Palm Passage Mooring (IMOS Platform Code: GBRPPS) is one of two moorings, offshore from Townsville in Queensland, Australia at Latitude: -18.310, Longitude: 147.163 (approximate, adjustments with each deployment).The mooring’s sensors are adjusted and potentially change with each deployment, below is an example from 2009:- 2x SBE19Plus CTD- RDI Workhorse ADCP- 4x SBE39 temperature recorders- 2x WetLabs Water Quality MetersThis mooring was upgraded to near-real-time (NRT) in February 2013.
