To investigate the effect of FOXK2 knockdown on transcriptomic profiling in breast cancer and delineate the role of FOXK2 in breast cancer growth. We knockdowned the gene exprssion of FOXK2 in MCF7 cells and performed gene expression profiling analysis using data obtained from RNA-seq. Overall design: We compared the transcriptomic change between FOXK2 knockdown groups and the control groups. Differential gene expression (DGE) analysis of RNA-Seq was conducted with the R statistical package DESeq2 (v1.28.1). We performed gene set analysis on DGEs by over-representation test on the ConsensusPathDB web-portal. Genes detected in our experiments are selected on the background list.
