Genome sequence of Streptomyces sp. HOK021. Streptomyces strain:HOK021

Streptomyces sp. HOK021 is a Gram-positive filamentous actinobacteria and possess 8.46 Mb linear genome with GC content of 70.9%. Streptomyces sp. HOK021 was isolated from soil collected at Hokkaido Forest (Furano, Japan) and produces platensimycin / platensin and enterobactin as secondary metabolites. Sequence reads of Streptomyces sp. HOK021 was obtained by single-molecule real-time sequencing (PacBio RSII) and illumine pair end 150 bp short reads (Hiseq). Assembly was performed by HGAP4 (ver 4.0), Falcon (ver 0.3) or Canu (ver 0.7) software for PacBio reads and then Arrow (v2.3.3) / Pilon (v1.22) were used to recorrect the assembly result.
