We propose to use INTEGRAL SPI and IBIS to measure gamma-raylines and hard X-ray continua to clarify the mechanismsnucleosynthesis and dynamics of sufficiently nearbysupernovae beyond those observations reserved for the coreprogram. These might include important additional observationsof objects that do meet the guaranteed time triggers andobservations of detectable objects that do not satisfy thosetriggers. The requested observations vary from single earlytests of a specific hypothesis for relatively distant SN Iato extensive observations for Galactic events. We define theTarget of Opportunity trigger criteria clearly for eachcategory by specifying a complete list of potential hostgalaxies.
