Muscle samples were taken from focal species of fish and tested for 60 elemental metals. We used 25 samples of each species that was available for multiple sites. Ten samples from each of the datasets were also analyzed for PCB's. Samples were dried at room temperature for total mercury and PCB's, and at 70 C for elemental metals before being ground into powder and tested.
