资源简介:
In Drosophila, the primordial germ cells (PGCs) are characterized by the inheritance of germ plasm, which contains maternal factors that control germline development. A maternal zinc-finger protein Mamo, which partitioned to PGCs, is required to produce functional gametes (Mukai et al., 2007). The zinc finger domain of Mamo protein (MZD) is sufficient for DNA binding (Hira et al., 2013). To know the effect of overexpression of MZD on gene expression profile, we performed RNA-seq analysis to compare transcriptome of MZD-OE embryos with that of wild-type embryos. We tried to identify upregulated and downregulated genes by MZD-overexpression.
