The effect of temperature on cell growth and astaxanthin synthesis in Phaffia rhodozyma.

The molecular regulatory mechanisms of cell growth and astaxanthin synthesis in P. rhodozyma by temperature was investigated in this project. Transcriptome analysis indicated that low viability at 28 degrees Celsius of Phaffia rhodozyma was due to synthesis defact in fatty acid pathway, cell wall pathway, etc.
