It is 56.36 km away from the Alexander Archipelago across the Dixon Entrance to the north, and 64.13 km away from Porcher Island across the Hecate Strait to the east. Its geographic coordinates range from 54°11′27″N to 53°08′05″N, and from 133°09′20″W to 131°38′43″W. Administratively, Graham Island falls under the jurisdiction of British Columbia, Canada. The total area of Graham Island, calculated using the Albers projection, is 6554.28 km², while its coastline length, calculated using the Lambert projection, is 1280.21 km. The main cities on the island are Queen Charlotte and Masset, with an airport located to the northeast of Masset.
