资源简介:
Alternative splicing (AS) events have been considered one of the critical hallmarks of cancer progression. However, the significance of ASE in HCC metastasis is not fully revealed. This study aims to investiage the important role of differential splicing events in HCC metastasis. Overall design: To reveal the significance of ASE in HCC metastasis, we have analyzed the RNA-seq data of 9 pairs of EHMH and 9 pairs of MFH. We found increased differentially spliced events covering A3SS, A5SS, MXE, IR and SE in EHMH relative to MFH.Moreover, HCC tissues with extrahepatic metastasis showed more significant differentially spliced events on metastasis-associated genes with preferential increase in A3SS, A5SS, IR and SE, suggesting that splicing of these genes might represent an alternate mechanism for HCC metastasis.
